Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking Lift Truck Operators for 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.) to move and transport products to and from inventory locations while maintaining product quality and preventing damage or safety hazards.

The role requires operating a lift truck, loading/unloading, and adhering to safety rules. Candidates should be able to work overtime and follow the attendance policy.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write numbers.
• Must communicate clearly with team and supervisors.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must write legibly and perform simple math.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve product from inventory and transport to location as instructed by onboard computer or management.
• Place unwrapped product on wrapping station as needed.
• Raise or lower dock leveler as needed.
• Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers.
• Operate Lift Truck to transport palletized freight as needed.
• Change Lift Truck battery as needed.
