Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Lift Truck Operator for a 12-hour rotating night shift. You will move materials from lines to WIP areas, record IPT locations, perform daily truck checks, and help keep the facility clean and organized.

The role requires basic reading/writing, math, color vision, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. OSHA/compliance knowledge is valued; prior forklift experience is preferred. Shaw offers comprehensive benefits and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Pass color blindness and vision test.
• Familiar with current computer systems and software.
• Ability to operate a lift truck after training.
• Capable of mounting/dismounting lift truck up to 100 times per day.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to sit for 12 hours per day.
• Complete yearly LTO recertification.
• Comply with OSHA, SAFE and plant safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to WIP areas and stores.
• Record IPT locations next to product numbers.
• Complete lift truck check sheets daily.
• Package and strap finished goods and WIP.
• Operate floor sweeper as needed.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts.
• Change lift truck batteries as needed.
• Maintain neat and orderly workspace.
• Perform duties of other LTOs when necessary.
• Operate baler for recycling materials.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
