Responsibilities

1. Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient.
2. Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms indicative of change.
3. Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
4. Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations.
5. Follow universal precautions whenever providing patient care.
6. Follow emergency procedures in the event of catastrophic events, incidents, injuries, or significant changes in the patient's condition.

Qualifications

1. At least 1 year of experience as an LPN/RN.
2. Current state license as an LPN/RN.
3. Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
4. Proof of current CPR certification.
5. Ability to work a flexible schedule.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills.
