Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 2nd Shift Lead to oversee and coordinate fabrication, welding, and CNC operations during the evening shift. This leadership role is crucial in ensuring seamless production workflows, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of 15–30 production associates, providing direction, support, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
2. Production Oversight: Monitor and manage daily production activities, ensuring that fabrication, welding, and CNC operations meet established goals and timelines.
3. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain product quality.
4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
5. Equipment Management: Ensure that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated, coordinating with maintenance teams to address any issues promptly.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance logs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within a fabrication, welding, or CNC manufacturing environment.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders. Strong understanding of welding techniques, CNC operations, and fabrication processes.
