Job summary

Quebec Linge Co. in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a warehouse associate to support our industrial laundry operations. You will handle merchandise safely, fold linens and towels, verify quantities, and place bundles into storage or on carts.

Must follow training and written instructions, use basic math, and communicate clearly. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a warehouse environment, with possible weekend shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Basic math skills needed for counting and verifying merchandise.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand training and written instructions.
• Good attendance and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Stages cart in lift table, secures safety chain, and raises the table
• Folds linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, stains)
• Accurately verifies quantity and bundles by type
• Places bundles in storage bins, carts, or on shelves
• Manoeuvres full and empty baskets
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and follows production safety practices
• Other duties as assigned
