Job summary

Vestis in Scranton, PA, seeks a dependable Warehouse/Laundry Associate to join our team. You will handle merchandise in a fast-paced laundry facility, stage carts, fold linens, identify items not meeting quality standards, verify quantities, and help store and move bundles while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Candidates should have basic math skills, good verbal and written communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Shift work may include weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, lift, and move items in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Stages cart on lift table, secures safety chain, and raises table.
• Folds linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting specified quality standards in terms of rips, tears, holes, and stains.
• Accurately verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type.
• Places bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
