Job summary

Quebec Linge Co. is seeking a team-oriented worker for an industrial laundry facility. The role focuses on safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and out of the laundry area.

Responsibilities include folding linens and related items, verifying counts, and placing bundles in storage. The position requires basic math, good communication, and reliable attendance, with shifts possible on weekends.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must speak and understand English to communicate with supervisor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Stage cart in lift table, secure safety chain, and raise the table.
• Fold linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting quality standards in terms of rips, tears, holes, and stains.
• Accurately verify merchandise quantity and bundles by type.
• Place bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuver full and empty baskets.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and observe best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
