Job summary

Schuette Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Laser Operator in Rothschild, WI, to process metal parts in a manufacturing setting. This full-time role offers an hourly wage of $20.00 to $26.00 and a Monday-Thursday 1:30pm–12:00am schedule.

You will read blueprints, load parts, inspect finished work with calipers and micrometers, and document production steps while collaborating with a team to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Commitment to safety and PPE use.
• Strong time management to meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and/or work orders to determine instructions.
• Load parts per program/work instructions to achieve results.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment and fixtures.
• Document production steps and clocking procedures.
• Move components to storage per work instructions.
• Inspect parts using calipers, height gauges, micrometers, go/no-go gauges.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
