Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring Machine Operators for Metalcraft in West Bend, WI. Starting pay is $18/hr with a $2/hr premium for 2nd shift. The role offers 11 paid holidays, comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities include setting up hydraulic and punch press equipment, loading materials, reading blueprints, and inspecting parts. Prior manufacturing experience and the ability to lift 50 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math, measurements, and quality checks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydraulic and punch press equipment to meet quality and production standards.
• Load materials, install tooling, and assist with machine setups.
• Read work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Inspect finished parts and document production and quality information.
• Troubleshoot basic manufacturing and equipment issues and escalate when needed.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Support preventative maintenance activities and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow all plant safety, quality, and production standards.
