The Laser Operator is responsible for processing metal parts in a machining center that meets applicable quality standards. Operators are also tasked with inspecting finished products for quality, and ensuring all work is completed on time following safety protocol.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands and fingers, handle, touch objects, tools and controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Work is performed in an office and manufacturing plant environment. Employee will be required to wear all required personal protective equipment when on the manufacturing floor. This is an onsite role, requiring consistent presence at the location.
