Vertiv is seeking a Laser Cutting Technician to join our sheet metal fabrication team in the United States. You will operate CNC laser cutting equipment, set up runs, read blueprints, verify material specs, and ensure parts meet specifications.

This role involves inspecting parts with calipers and micrometers, maintaining quality records, and collaborating with the fabrication team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and verify tolerances.
• Operate and set up CNC laser cutting equipment for production runs.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser cutting equipment to cut sheet metal components per specs.
• Set up laser equipment for production runs and verify settings.
• Read blueprints and production instructions accurately.
• Verify material type, thickness, and dimensions during production.
• Inspect completed parts with calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust for quality and throughput.
• Record production and quality data and report issues to the team.
• Work safely, keep area clean, and follow 5S standards.
