Fuse Fabrication is seeking a CNC Laser Operator for the 2nd shift to daily setup and run our laser cutting systems. You will interpret blueprints, select tooling, and ensure parts meet specifications with strict quality checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience operating CO2 laser/Fiber Optic CNC cutting machines.
• Experience with brands Amada, Mazak, Bystronic or Messer preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read drawings and inspect flat laser parts.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Safety-conscious behavior.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering blueprints to program pattern layouts of parts using designated software.
• Performs visual & dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
• Program & maintain current file revisions of client part.
• Perform daily machine startup & shutdown procedures on CNC cutting equipment; select tooling for cost-effective manufacture.
• Prepare detailed standardized work instructions & setup plan in accordance with quality standards.
• Maintain dust collector service & associated logbook; report equipment deficiencies and follow safety practices.
• Stage raw materials at each work-center; load & unload machines; assist in operations as needed.
