Job summary

Rhoads Industries in Philadelphia is seeking a Laborer for 2nd shift to support our operations across tool and ECC departments. You will collect trash, assist in loading/unloading, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and help maintain safe, organized work areas.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, US citizenship, OSHA 10, and the ability to pass a background check. You’ll work well independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Ability to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash, recycling, and scrap.
• Assist in loading and unloading raw materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist Tool/ECC departments with tasks like inventory, tool, hose and cable repairs, stocking shelves.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Operate street sweeper and other floor cleaning equipment.
• Monitor bottles on shop floor and replace as necessary.
• Operate hand and power tools (saws, drills, grinders, sanders).
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform Fire and Tank watch duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
