Job summary

Rhoads Industries, Inc. is seeking a Laborer to support operations at our Navy Yard facility in Philadelphia. The role involves collecting trash, recycling, and scrap; assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment; and performing various duties in Tool and ECC departments.

Strong forklift/PJ experience and a commitment to safety are essential. The candidate will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and floor cleaning equipment while maintaining clean work areas and adhering to OSHA 10

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Experience using drills, grinders, sanders and saws.
• Must have OSHA 10.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash, recycling, and scrap.
• Assist in loading and unloading raw materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks; run street sweeper and floor-cleaning equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
• Perform Fire and Tank watch duties.
