Job summary

Composite Factory in Mooresville, NC is seeking an Inventory Lead for 2nd shift to oversee daily inventory operations, verify BOMs, manage work-in-progress and finished goods, and drive accuracy across warehouse, production, and intercompany locations.

You will lead a 2nd shift inventory team, train staff, participate in cycle counts, implement barcode/inventory improvements, and partner with Planning, Purchasing and Engineering to optimize the supply chain while upholding safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of inventory management or warehouse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., Global Shop, SAP).
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory operations, verify BOM components and serial numbers.
• Manage WIP, raw materials, and finished goods across warehouse and production.
• Train, mentor and lead the 2nd shift inventory team.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventories; prepare reports on inventory status.
