Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate for second shift in California. You will handle shipping/receiving, inventory tasks, order picking, loading/unloading, and operate a forklift to move pallets and materials.

A valid high reach forklift experience and a HS diploma are required, with ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand long hours. Responsibilities include ensuring product safety, accuracy of counts, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have 1 year of high reach forklift experience.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers and verify stacking and freight per pallet instructions.
• Check shipments for damage, infestation, and dates; report shortages/damages.
• Identify and recover any damage; assist in inventories with scanners.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment; ensure correct lot numbers and locations.
• Operate forklift and other equipment; maintain clean, safe work area.
