Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Waukesha, WI is seeking an Inspector for the 2nd shift to perform assembly inspections of transformers and regulators, plus electrical testing per established procedures. The role includes a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Core hours are 3pm–11pm with overtime possible. Candidates must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience and be US authorized to work. A 50-mile radius relocation rule applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Candidates within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests per established procedures (ratio, resistance, continuity, hipot, etc.).
• Inspect unit nameplates and stamp impedance values on nameplates.
• Perform visual inspection throughout assembly process.
• Complete weekly oil sample tests and minor maintenance of test equipment.
• Assist Engineering/Manufacturing in solving shop floor problems.
• Document inspection results and communicate status per procedures.
