Job summary

Toppan Packaging Americas in Huntley, IL is hiring an Inspector Packer I for the 2nd shift. You will inspect thermoformed sheets, pack finished goods, and keep accurate part counts while following safety and quality standards.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and good communication. High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of production experience preferred; physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months production line experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove completed thermoformed sheets from machines.
• Visually inspect thermoformed sheets for defects.
• Remove and segregate non-conforming product according to inspection control plans.
• Assemble cardboard cartons.
• Remove individual parts and stack according to job specifications.
• Load parts into cartons and seal cartons.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Read and understand specification sheets; participate in continuous improvement efforts.
