Job summary

ProAmpac is hiring a Packer in Hanover Park, IL to join our manufacturing team on the 2nd shift (4pm–2am, Monday–Friday). You will pack and test pouches, coordinate with the Machine Operator, Quality Control, and Customer Service to meet production goals while upholding strict quality standards.

This on-site role requires attention to detail and teamwork. The position offers a base rate of $17 per hour plus a $1 shift premium, with full-time hours and benefits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient production of a quality product on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure that the pouching machinery is working properly and safely.
• Monitor the quality of the material being processed to ensure compliance to company and customer quality specifications.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork, reports, and quality records associated with pouch operations.
• Alert Quality Control of any suspected material non-conformances.
• Pack products neatly in the cartons and stack them neatly on the skids.
• Communicate with the next shift for any special instructions, (reason why you couldn't get samples, machine problems, things to look for in quality, etc...)
