Qualifications

• Two years of experience in printing or mail inserting environment preferred.
• High school graduate, or completion of GED preferred.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up inserting equipment at the beginning of each job according to job ticket specifications.
• Insert address tags into mail sacks or mail trays for bulk mailing of IDs, kits, and catalogs.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Keep work area orderly and follow safety regulations.
• Read postal statements and sort mail accordingly.
• Make adjustments to ensure output matches specifications.
• Direct and supervise helpers on the machine.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager.
• Communicate status of jobs to department manager.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
