Job summary

Royal Technologies—Cullman, AL—seeks an Injection Molding Technical Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead a small team and drive process improvements. You’ll enter an in-house 9–12 month training program to become a technical leader, working out of the Cullman facility and reporting to the Production Manager.

You’ll troubleshoot molding processes, manage color changes, uphold safety, and ensure customer quality while growing into supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on technical experience (work or personal) is highly preferred.
• Experience with injection molding equipment is a plus.
• High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience.
• Willing and able to work 45-50 hours per week.
• Ability to train on 1st shift (8am-4pm) for 3-6 months.
• Prior leadership experience is greatly appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot injection molding processes and equipment. Develop corrective actions for issues and ideas for improvement.
• Climb in and out of injection molding equipment to perform mold and color changes
• Oversee production of quality products to meet customer standards
• Maintain the work area, equipment and molds for an organized workplace
• Ensure machine safety and follow lock out procedures
• Learn to schedule team machine assignments and provide break coverage to hit daily goals
• Lead a small team (3-6) in daily production tasks and continuous improvement
• Write and conduct employee performance evaluations
