Micron Solutions in Fitchburg, MA is seeking a 2nd shift Injection Molding Process Technician to set up and troubleshoot molding equipment, perform mold changes, and monitor processes. You will work with robotics and automation, ensuring safe, efficient production on the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift.

Ideal candidates have hands-on molding experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to respond to production issues independently while collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on injection molding processing experience.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines.
• Experience performing mold changes and machine setups.
• Familiarity with safety and quality procedures.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to production issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
• Perform mold and job changeovers.
• Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment.
• Respond to machine alarms and processing issues.
• Make process adjustments within established parameters.
• Monitor cycle times, machine performance, and process stability.
• Troubleshoot basic robotics and automation issues.
• Complete required production and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
• Work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
