Knowles is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Liberty, SC. Responsibilities include preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, with detailed CMMS documentation and safety-compliant procedures.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with motors and drives, and the ability to read schematics. Overtime and rotating shifts may be required to support production demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum education – High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with motors, drives, sensors, relays, pneumatics, hydraulics.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures using diagnostic tools.
• Document maintenance work orders in the CMMS with accurate records of repairs and downtime.
• Install, align, calibrate, and commission machinery per OEM specs and safety standards.
• Support engineers and production teams to resolve equipment issues and improve performance.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with Maintenance Planner on critical needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards including LOTO and PPE usage.
• Participate in reliability initiatives to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Read and apply mechanical/electrical schematics and OEM manuals during service.
• Provide shift coverage and respond to emergency maintenance as needed.
