Job summary

NSK Corporation, located in Liberty, Indiana, is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Technician or Technical Specialist to maintain electrical and mechanical systems across the plant. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment performance.

The ideal candidate will have a technical diploma or associates degree and 2–4 years of related experience, with CNC and robotics exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years experience with troubleshooting, set-up, change-over, maintenance, or repair of CNC equipment and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems throughout the manufacturing plant.
• Learn machine troubleshooting techniques both electrical and mechanical.
• Apply electrical theory to test and modify electrical machinery and control equipment.
• Repair minor machine conditions under supervision.
• Monitor and test equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair and rebuild mechanical and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
• Read and understand mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints.
