Job summary

Peet’s Coffee Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our roasting plant. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The position is Monday–Friday, 2nd shift (12:00 PM–8:30 PM) with an hourly wage of 32–45/hour. Candidates should have electro-mechanical aptitude and CMMS experience, with a willingness to learn and work as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Self-starter, organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Bilingual skills are a plus; boiler experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment per schedule.
• Diagnose and repair filling and assembly lines as needed.
• Interpret system error messages and HMIs during operations.
• Understand roasting equipment operation and HMIs.
• Work on bag slitters and pallet lifters.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneu- matic systems.
• Read electrical diagrams and use multimeters for diagnostics.
• Repair doors, dock levelers, lights, and general facilities items.
• Assist with line changeovers and setups.
