Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift in Santa Ana, CA. The role offers 40 hours per week with potential overtime and an hourly rate of $32.40 per hour.

Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing facilities, mechanical systems, and equipment, while supporting Lean initiatives and MESH programs. Requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years industrial/facilities maintenance experience or related experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Within 50 miles of Santa Ana, CA – no relocation offered.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, control, hydraulic, fluid, and electrical systems to component level.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and project managers with layout proposals and Kaizens.
• Coordinate with Santa Ana facility contractors as needed.
• Assist in development of prototype equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems alongside production operators and supervisors.
• Implement improvements to layouts, material handling, and work processes.
• Support MESH program and use MESH tools to drive improvements.
• Perform general maintenance across electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with HR and EHS on miscellaneous activities.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
