Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech for 2nd shift in Mason, OH. The role performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks to meet safety and quality standards.

Starting pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour depending on experience. Key duties include monitoring water treatment and refrigeration systems, electrical inspections, startup of production equipment, maintaining logs, following GMP and safety rules, and performing long hours or weekend work as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• At least 3–5 year of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix electrical issues.
• Must be able to repair, maintain and troubleshoot machinery.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Good communication and detail orientation.
• Adaptable and dependable with teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor water treatment facility performance to ensure compliance.
• Monitor refrigeration systems and maintain proper temperatures.
• Inspect electrical systems and use basic testing equipment.
• Install and start up production machines and plant equipment.
• Resolve maintenance problems promptly with minimal disruption.
• Follow lock out/tag out procedures and keep logs.
• Maintain maintenance history records and required paperwork.
