Job summary

New Pig Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm) in Tipton, PA. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to keep safe, reliable operations and meet production schedules.

Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance across multiple locations, entering PMs and repairs into the CMMS, supporting lean manufacturing initiatives, and assisting Manufacturing Engineering with custom equipment fabrication.

Qualifications

3 years related experience in production maintenance environment.
Experience with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) and industrial power systems.
Ability to read CAD drawings – mechanical / electrical.
Familiarity with various hand and maintenance shop tools.
Willingness to seek out and achieve position related training and/or certifications.
Safety-focused and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair equipment to safe/ proper working condition.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment at multiple locations in coordination with CMMS.
Interact with CMMS via PMs, repairs and reporting information into the system for record keeping.
Support multi-shift production operation to meet output and quality goals.
Install, test and repair electrical equipment and controls; maintain drives and PLC systems.
Assist Manufacturing Engineering with fabrication and installation of custom equipment.
