Job summary

Family Dollar in Saint George, UT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our warehouse team. You will perform preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and diagnose electrical/electronic issues on conveyors and equipment in the distribution center.

The role requires PLC/PC programming knowledge, 480V three-phase electrical work, and strong communication skills. Shift is Mon-Thu 3pm-11:30pm and Fri 5pm-1:30am with $25/hr pay and a $1.25 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience with electronic technology and troubleshooting automated equipment.
• PLC/PC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Electrical hands-on work with 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems.
• Strong communication skills for reporting to leadership.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures to maximize personal and coworker safety.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems in the DC.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/electronic problems and PLCs/IO devices.
• Diagnose electrical problems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Assist other maintenance technicians as needed.
• Develop knowledge of various DC systems and equipment.
