Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Orlando, FL is seeking an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues on mail-sort equipment and associated machinery, with a base pay of $29.00 plus a $1.50 shift differential, totaling $30.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include servicing conveyor machines and PLC systems, performing preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and using tablets to track work

Qualifications

• 2+ years' direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyor machines, PLC systems, and other industrial electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to automated equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under deadline pressures.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyor machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment (Mail Sorters/ Printers).
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns or emergency situations.
• Utilize inventory, pm schedule, and work order systems to effectively reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts/supply inventory utilizing EAM.
• Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.
• Utilize a tablet to track assigned work and machine downtime as well as inventory used in repair.
• Perform all additional duties as required.
