Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Gurnee, IL to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production and packaging equipment. The role emphasizes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, hydraulic/pneumatic repairs, PLC support at a basic level, and documenting activities to maintain equipment history. Training on 1st shift will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or mechanic in a production environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills on industrial equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, 480V systems, and VFDs.

Responsabilités

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend machinery life.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and related systems.
