Job summary

Tyson Foods, a leader in the meat processing industry, seeks a Maintenance Generalist for the Eufaula Fresh Plant. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing equipment while adhering to safety policies, documenting actions, and responding to breakdowns to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires the ability to perform mechanical and basic electrical tasks, lift heavy loads, and work in variable temperatures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience or relevant industrial maintenance training.
• Able to perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Must be able to wear PPE and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets.
• Prepare written documentation of actions taken to fix issues.
• Respond to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and emergencies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on schedule.
• Comply with lockout/tagout, confined space, and safety programs.
• Assist with other mechanics and perform janitorial duties as needed.
