Job summary

Industrious Group Inc. is seeking an experienced assembler/repair technician to disassemble, repair, and reassemble heavy equipment in our Lansing, MI facility. You will apply measurements and hand tools, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet specifications.

You will use cranes, calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify conformance, align components, and test the finished product. This role runs on a 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm. Safety and teamwork are core values.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical skills and ability to use cranes and heavy tools daily.
• Own tools and proficiency in common shop math and interpretation of prints.
• Ability to plan, perform, and decide sequences within standard methods.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and repair per procedures using experience and specs.
• Verify part conformance with calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Align components, form/bend piping, and test finished products.
• Maintain safe operation and use of lifting equipment; operate machines for validation.
• 2nd shift hours: Mon-Fri, 2:00pm - 10:30pm
