Job summary

CHASE is urgently hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the Dallas/Hiram GA area on the second shift. The role involves inspecting buildings and equipment, performing scheduled maintenance, and handling drywall, doors, lighting, plumbing, and other building systems.

You’ll use hand and power tools and may change forklift batteries as part of safety procedures. Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings, with sheetrock repair and forklift

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Hands-on sheetrock replacement and forklift battery changing experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs.
• OSHA-10 certification is a plus.
• Flexibility for occasional overtime or emergency call-ins.
• A background check, drug test, and steel-toe shoes are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the building and equipment, identify problems, and complete scheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Handle general facility work involving drywall, doors, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, filters, fans, and other building systems.
• Use hand and power tools safely to troubleshoot and complete repairs.
• Change forklift batteries following required safety procedures.
• Record inspections, maintenance work, and equipment readings in logs or work order systems.
• Communicate repair needs and work completed to the next shift.
• Assist with contractor work and respond to urgent facility issues when needed.
