Job summary

Aerotek in Avon, IN is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician (HVAC) to perform hands-on repair, maintenance, and operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems in a large commercial manufacturing facility on the 2nd shift. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of HVAC and electrical systems, and ensuring safe, reliable facility operations.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of technical experience in building engineering or related field.
• HVAC and plumbing troubleshooting/repair in industrial or commercial settings.
• EPA Universal license handling refrigerants required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems including packaged units and RTUs.
• Repair electrical distribution equipment to support safe operations.
• Maintain plumbing systems and components in accordance with facility standards.
• Inspect and repair lighting, doors, gates, building envelope, and related systems.
