Job summary

BioFire Diagnostics is seeking a Manufacturing Service Technician 2 for the 2nd shift in Durham, NC. The role focuses on operating high-speed, automated equipment to produce BacT/ALERT bottles in a cGMP environment. You will ensure batches are documented accurately and contribute to quality processes.

Responsibilities include adhering to SOPs, assisting with deviations and CAPA, and training teammates. The position requires attention to detail, safety compliance, and the ability to work 12-hour

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a regulated production/operations environment or equivalent military experience.
• Experience operating high-speed automated production equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations (LOTO, electrical safety) preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA and/or GMP regulations preferred.
• Mechanical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed, highly automated equipment using HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Follow Manufacturing Directions and SOPs to ensure compliant production.
• Complete batch paperwork accurately and timely.
• Participate in deviation analysis and CAPA actions as needed.
• Train teammates on production processes and procedures.
• Generate reports, charts, and KPIs to drive decisions.
