Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking an Hatchery Embrex Crew Sanitation associate for the 2nd shift. You will de-stack and clean chick boxes and embrex equipment, sanitize trays and machinery, and ensure all areas meet PPC standards before ending the shift.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and a willingness to work overtime in a heated hatchery environment (80–100F). A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Willingness to work in a heated environment and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• De-stack and clean chick boxes and embrex equipment.
• Sanitize boxes, trays, washers and embrex machinery.
• Run cleaning cycles and ensure proper drying per PPC requirements.
• Inspect needles and replace as needed; maintain clean cycles.
• Maintain sanitation throughout the shift and report issues.
• Carry out all other assigned tasks related to sanitation.
