Prestage Farms is seeking a Hatchery Sanitation and Transfer Technician to assist in cleaning and sterilizing machinery used for eggs, poults, and related items in the hatchery. Duties include sanitation, transfer of eggs and poults, and basic lab sample checks.

Candidates must read and comprehend instructions, communicate effectively, perform basic math, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Expect a demanding schedule with 50–60 hours per week and strict uniform requirements.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend cleaning and operation instructions.
• Able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Perform basic arithmetic for measurements and records.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation: clean, sterilize, and disinfect machinery and equipment.
• Transfer: place eggs and poults in trays and move between stages.
• Equipment maintenance: replace defective sections and assist other departments.
• Safety: follow uniform policy and shower before entering the facility.
