Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking an Offal Attendant for the 2nd shift at the Union Springs plant. The role oversees offal screening, DAF, sludge production/dewatering, and chemical mixing/injection systems, while ensuring PPE and safety policies are followed.

You will operate pumps, valves, and irrigation equipment, drive a jockey truck when needed, and coordinate with third-party drivers. The position requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and extended shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Experience with pumps, valves, and irrigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees offal screening, DAF, sludge production/dewatering, and chemical mixing/injection systems.
• Observes trailer/tanker fill levels and moves trailers with jockey truck.
• Operates wastewater equipment, monitors chemicals and piping.
• Performs cleaning and housekeeping in assigned areas and coordinates with third-party drivers.
