Job summary

Bell & Evans is seeking a Hatchery Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift to help keep our production lines safe and efficient. You will troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and perform preventative maintenance across our facilities.

As a maintenance technician, you will repair or replace motors, bearings, conveyors, pumps, and other components, conduct inspections, and support continuous improvement efforts to boost reliability and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Performing preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnosing equipment issues and completing repairs.
• Repairing or replacing motors, bearings, conveyors, pumps, and other components.
• Installing and removing equipment as needed.
• Conducting equipment inspections and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ordering parts and supporting maintenance projects.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
• Supporting continuous improvement efforts that increase equipment reliability and production efficiency.
