Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Operative to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will perform scheduled maintenance, inspect drives and motors, and assist in tooling design for molds and welds.

Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and rigid safety adherence are required. The role demands experience in a continuous manufacturing environment, ability to read blueprints, and use hand/power tools with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Requires High School Diploma or GED and trade school training.
  • Trade school or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 1+ years of electromechanical or hydraulic systems experience.
  • 1+ years of maintenance in continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to read blueprints and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
  • Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Repair machines and equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Service, adjust, test, and replace machine components.
  • Assist with mold setup and tooling design as needed.
  • Promote safety and follow OSHA guidelines.
