Bell & Evans in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania, is looking for a dedicated individual to repair and maintain various machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues, replacing parts, and ensuring production efficiency.
The candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate strong mechanical and communication skills. This role involves lifting heavy objects occasionally and requires the ability to work up to 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, including weekends.

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, and other equipment in order to maintain and increase the flow of production. Provides own tools.

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and use lifts; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, and/or smell in order to correctly diagnose and repair the malfunctioning machine or equipment. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must possess good reading and writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers on an individual or team basis. Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Must possess the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, as well as to draw and interpret bar graphs. Must also be able to attend different seminars, vocational trainings, and specialized schools in order to enhance understanding of technology being used within the company.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
