Cadrex is seeking a Hardware Operator I to set up, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware machinery in a 2nd shift, on-site role in Bloomingdale, IL. You will ensure accurate production, perform assemblies, and collaborate with maintenance to address issues while following safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and strong attention to detail, with prior experience operating drilling, cutting, lathe, or milling equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating hardware machinery in manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hardware machinery (drilling, cutting, shaping).
• Follow SOPs to ensure accurate, efficient production.
• Monitor machine operation for abnormalities or deviations.
• Perform hardware assembly tasks and ensure precise measurements.
• Inspect hardware installations and make necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate with maintenance for complex repairs or replacements.
• Adhere to PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
