Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Amarillo, TX facility is seeking a Grinder Operator for the 2nd shift to support finishing operations in the foundry, including shakeout, shot blasting and visual inspection. You will use snag and face grinders to remove casting defects, sort castings, manage containers, and keep the work area clean and safe in a heavy industrial environment with long hours.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months consecutive manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Amarillo Texas will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and sort castings according to finishing needs.
• Use snag grinder and/or face grinder to remove casting defects following established procedures.
• Place castings in appropriate containers to prevent product mixing.
• Perform a variety of duties to clean castings using shot-blast machine.
• Direct castings from conveyor into tubs on the shakeout operation.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
