Job summary

Eaton’s EPG CHD EP Americas division is seeking a Grinder Operator on the 2nd shift at our Amarillo, TX facility. The role involves finishing castings, shakeout, shot blasting, sorting and visual inspection, with a focus on handling and moving materials safely in a heavy industrial setting.

The position requires the ability to operate grinders, adhere to procedures, and work in a hazardous industrial environment with overtime as needed. Local candidates in Amarillo area preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months consecutive manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered; candidates within 50-mile radius of Amarillo, TX will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and sort castings according to finishing needs.
• Use snag grinder and/or face grinder to remove defects per procedures.
• Place castings in appropriate containers to prevent mixing.
• Clean castings using shot-blast machine.
• Direct castings from conveyor into tubs on the shakeout operation.
• Handle castings and visually inspect and sort per finishing needs.
• Perform material handling duties as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
