Job summary

McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a dependable 2nd shift General Laborer to support our composting and organics recycling facility in Morrisville, PA. The position is outdoors, involves hands-on work, and requires reliability, safety awareness, and the ability to stay productive in varying weather.

You will help keep production areas clean, assist with maintenance, and follow all procedures. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) match, vacation, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial facilities, construction, landscaping, agriculture, recycling or general labor environments is preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds, ramps, screening areas, and shop facilities clean and organized.
• Perform weed eating, shoveling, painting, and other grounds maintenance tasks.
• Clean and prepare processing bays and production areas.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and routine maintenance activities; support maintenance technicians with repair and upkeep projects.
• Organize tools, parts, and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accountability for company-issued tools and equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
