Job summary

Baker Manufacturing Company, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on foundry equipment, conveyors, furnaces, and related systems.

You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery, log activities in CMMS, and collaborate with production and engineering to minimize downtime. Overtime Fridays and/or Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a foundry or heavy manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Electrical certification or journeyman status is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and foundry-specific regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Willingness to work off-hours on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on furnaces, molding machines, sand systems, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
• Welding and fabrication for repair or modification of parts.
• Work with CMMS to log maintenance activities and track parts usage.
• Install and assist startup of new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain safety practices including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE.
• Keep maintenance area clean and organized, manage spare parts.
