Job summary

The Chesapeake Spice Company in Belcamp, MD is seeking a Formulation Technician for 2nd shift. You will weigh, stage, and prepare raw materials following batch cards and SOPs, ensuring GMP compliance, safety, and accurate real-time documentation.

As you progress, you’ll independently complete batch formulations with efficiency and low deviations, support team productivity, and contribute to batch quality improvements and cycle-time reduction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of formulation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read batch cards and SOPs precisely.
• English reading/writing ability required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, measure, and stage raw materials with minimal errors.
• Follow SOPs, GMP guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Complete batch documentation in real time with high accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, audit-ready workstation.
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials.
• Identify and report discrepancies or safety concerns immediately.
• Support continuous improvement and training of teammates.
