Job summary

McCormick & Company is hiring a Flavor Manufacturing Technician for the 2nd shift at the FMC Plant in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This full-time role reports to a Team Manager and is based at 11102 McCormick Road.

The job involves setting up and operating filling packaging equipment, running a spray dryer, following production cards, keeping records, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards. A high school diploma and at least one year of production experience are required, with weekend and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• One year of production experience in mixing/blending/processing or related.
• Ability to read and interpret formula sheets and production specs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy drums and containers.
• Willingness to work 10–12 hour shifts, overtime, weekends, and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate filling/packaging equipment and perform hand-filling tasks.
• Operate a Spray Dryer.
• Follow packaging instructions, weights, labels, and formulas per schedule.
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting.
• Inspect in-process goods for weights, labeling, and packaging defects.
• Perform sanitation duties and uphold GMP and safety procedures.
• Assist in basic blends and emulsions and perform sampling.
• Operate forklift safely and handle changeovers and washdowns.
