Job summary

Durex Industries, part of Spirax Group, seeks a Supervisor, Forming (2nd shift) to lead manufacturing operations and ensure accurate, timely movement of components across the shop floor. You’ll serve as an operational liaison between Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning and Shipping, driving process adherence and continuous improvement.

We seek strong leaders with communication and organization skills, plus data analysis experience and ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience in a discrete environment.
• Strong process discipline and data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to drive improvements and support change initiatives.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication across all levels.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and labor/materiel transaction processing; Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of production components on the shop floor and across departments, providing status updates.
• Attend department meetings, manage action items, and ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, Shipping & Receiving and others as needed.
• Support Supervisors and Team Leads in prioritizing component quantities and assemblies.
• Manage Shipping and Receiving activities, including barcode and labeling equipment.
• Expedite assemblies through manufacturing and shipping processes with supervisors.
• Serve as Shop Floor BPO for barcode/labeling systems and ensure MES/SFM transaction accuracy.
• Maintain MO documentation and physical inventory accuracy; create MRBs and CARs.
• Support cycle count and annual physical inventory processes.
• Generate daily work progress reports and reconcile SFM/ERP transactions.
